Availability of clean and safe water is essential to increase the quality of life. This would reduce associated problems with sanitation and increase the health condition of the community. As the demand grows, competition between industry for the resource will also grow. Thus at MAM we identified risks associated with water scarcity and are continuously working towards water conservation and reduction of water consumption in its operations. MAM has already initiated the consumption of water by reusing clarified water used during processing. About 35% to 40% of water is recycled for reuse at MAM.
